Lectures and Conversions

Hi,
Thanks for your e-mail, which I saw late at night.
By next year you should be able to take down notes in shorthand when you attend such lecture series.
Conversions are pernicious because it is not just about accepting a new religion (no harm here) but is also about rejecting the old religion (this is disavowing the fact that all religions contain truth).
Yes, you can improve your language by letter-writing. It enables you to put your thoughts in words, particularly unique personal thoughts, which require us to be alert with the language.
